Vested Interest

After a long day dressed up as The Morton Salt Girl, I was happy to slip off the bright yellow coat  and put on a more casual outfit to enjoy the rest of my day.  Trick-or-treating with my nieces was done in skinny jeans, comfortable ballet flats, a stripped tee and a olive vest.  As I sipped apple cider walking up and down the neighborhood, the sounds of kids squealing with delight made me smile and the moon lit the streets just enough to add to the atmosphere of Halloween.  My favorite month has come and gone but it was filled with so much fun I could not be more grateful.
