Cooking with Door to Door Organics

March 19, 2015
Last week I debuted my partnership with door to door organics (check out that post here) and I am back today to share some of the other fun snacks and meals I have been enjoying with my fresh produce. Over the past couple of months our house has been filled with a bounty of fruits and veggies, helping us reach for healthy snacks versus going for the convenient-but-horrible bag of chips. Similarly, I have been meal planning around the fresh produce in our fridge, leading to more seasonally-inspired meals and meatless dishes.

I have found a new love for sliced apples because of justin's honey-almond butter. This is my go-to snack at least once a week while I am at the office. Tea is also on constant replay so, a couple fresh lemons have really stepped up my tea game. Finally, a simple crudite plate with a little ranch dip makes eating raw veggie extra fun and delicious. I love to have veggie plates for a light lunch and they are also one of the easiest appetizers to whip up for a crowd.

Last week ryan and I made stir fry for dinner utilizing the many veggies we had on hand from door to door organics. We sauteed carrots, onions, brocolli and mushrooms with a bit of fresh ginger, red pepper flakes, a few glugs of tamari and a splash of toasted sesame oil. At the last minute we added in some chicken to make it a bit more hearty and the dinner turned out great... plus leftovers for lunch the next day.

Here is one more reminder about the $50 gift card I am giving away from door to door organics. This giveaway ends on friday 3/20 so make sure you sign up. Also, if you want to try door to door organics out for yourself, use the promo code BEWELLCO15 for $10 off your first order. #joydelivered
