Denver's Big Eat

The summer foodie scene in denver is all about al fresco dining, weekend food festivals, farmers markets loaded with locally grown produce, a pretty hot food truck scene and food-focused events. Seriously, if you are eating inside there is something wrong because almost every night of the week, there is at least 1 amazing reason to get outdoors and enjoy a meal in the gorgeous summer air. 

For example, next thursday is denver's big eat. Nearly 40 local restaurants, distillers, winemakers and brewers will be on-hand for a night full of eating + drinking at the beautiful galleria theatre in the denver performing arts center. I am super excited to be attending this event, on behalf of eat denver, so I can come back here and share all of the fun with you. I cannot wait to taste my way through some of the best indie restaurants in town and see how they showcase the bounty of locally grown/raised ingredients available in the heart of summer.
