Door to Door Organics // #joydelivered

March 11, 2015
If you have read my blog before, then you know I am a major foodie. I love finding new recipes, eating out, learning about ingredients and even reading cookbooks cover to cover. It is a passion of mine that I am proud to protest. So, when door to door organics reached out to me about trying their services, I of course, jumped at the chance.

Door to door organics partners with farmers to bring fresh, organic and good-food groceries right to your doorstep. They not only offer amazing seasonal produce but also have a huge selection of products ranging from free-range eggs, humanely raised meats, artisan breads and fresh juices. Customers can schedule for weekly or bi-weekly deliveries based upon one’s household size.

For the past couple of months I have been receiving the bitty box on a bi-weekly basis which is perfect for 1-2 people. My deliveries have a mix of both fruits and veggies including common produce, along with a few items that I would not typically buy at the store. I love that I can count on commonly known produce to be delivered but I get to try try new-to-me ingredients through this program.

It is currently stone fruit and citrus season so I have been tasting my way through several apple and citrus varieties along with locally grown potatoes, loose rainbow carrots, swiss chard, fennel bulbs, cucumbers and sweet petite peppers, to name a few. One of my favorite features is the personalized menu that I can access through the door to door organics site. Each week I get to see what items are coming my way and make any substitutions to my order if necessary.

A few weeks ago when it was unbearably cold in Denver, my door to door organics box happened to include nearly every ingredient needed for my favorite potato leek soup. It was so convenient to whip up a batch of this warm and comforting soup while also knowing that my produce was fresh, organic and free of chemicals.

Door to door organics has been an amazing partner for south on broadway and their team is offering up some serious love to all of you… my loyal readers so you can experience their services and products too! I am giving away a $50 gift card to door to door organics through the rafflecopter below.
