I am grateful for...

• Laughing and telling stories with my best friend over martinis on random Thursday evenings.
• Rocco sleeping in until 7:30a multiple dates in a row.
• My grandmother-in-law making me delicious soup to warm my belly on a snowy day.
• A delicious avocado that was brought all the way from California for me to enjoy.
• For my husband's made-up songs that somehow get stuck in my head but somehow I don't mind because they are so silly.
• My parents having me over for dinner with them this week and always making me feel so special.
• The smell of my puppy when I get home from a long day at work.
• Getting to talk to my sister every morning on my drive into the office.

Friday Favorites

I could not be happier that it is Friday.  I feel like there is so much to be thankful for and excited about.

I love my outfit today.  Simple F21 billowy tank, skinnies, nude pumps and a necklace I just picked up a couple weeks ago and have already found myself wearing at least half-a-dozen-times.  

Ryan is working downtown today which mean he is only a couple short minutes away from me office.  So, we are going to go have drinks after work (hopefully on a patio) which will be so fun.

My sister is having a sweet pool party tomorrow.  If it is anything like last year I will get to catch up with some of my favorite ladies, have delicious drinks, leave with a full belly and have a few photos to look back on next year with fond memories.

HBO’s ‘True Blood’ starts this Sunday.  There is a scene in the movie, ‘I Love You Man’ with Paul Rudd when they say, ‘It’s not TV, it’s HBO’ and I think that is so true.  I love my HBO series and I am so happy that True Blood is back.

Tears came to my eyes as I had a mini-giggle fest with some of my best girlfriends this afternoon which was well overdue and made my afternoon.  Honestly, it was a moment of simplicity, childish antics and hilarious topics that has left a smile on my face sense the incident occurred.  Love those girls!

Friday Favorite

I know my 'Friday Favorties' posts are typically supposed to include multiple things I am excited about sharing with you but today is no ordinary day.  Thus, this is no ordinary post. 

Today is the day I am going to go see The Hunger Games!!!  I have read all the books (this is a big shocker for some as i am not a reader) and even pre-purchased tickets.  I cannot wait to see how it compares and give a full update this weekend.

A few months back the Lopez's decided that Friday was going to be the best day of the week and for us, it typically is.  It is the end to the work week, the beginning of adventure, a (sometimes) slower pace and the chance to spend time doing stuff together.
