Round Up // Bakeries

I love starting my mornings with a cup of fresh-brewed coffee and a flaky pastry. I am also a huge sucker for an afternoon sweet treat... and dessert, I feel like every meal should end with a sugary-something. So, I guess you could say I am a bit of a sugar aficionado. There are dozens of bakeries around town but there are a handful that I visit on the regular to get my sugar fix. 

Today's round up features my favorite bakeries... specializing in croissants, cakes, cookies and everything in between.

National Pizza Day // Round Up // Pizza

Happy national pizza day! No matter if you like your pizza deep dish or thin crust, with simple ingredients or piled high with all your favorites, pizza is loved by all. To honor's today 'holiday', I have rounded up my favorite joints in town to grab a slice or a whole pie.

Round Up // Coffee Shops

There is practically a coffee shop on every corner in denver so you are never far from a caffeine-fix. However, not every cup of joe is the same. If you are looking for great atmosphere, friendly staff, quality beans and most importantly, a superior caffeinated beverage, you must sift through the majority to find the exceptions. Here are my favorite coffee shops in denver; they are on an ever-rotating visitation in my world and should be in yours too!

Round Up // Fries

There are few things better than a big basket of fries, fresh from the fryer and tossed in the perfect amount of salt. They pair wonderfully with burgers + beer and can be topped with almost anything to enhance their taste. Nearly every restaurant, fast food joint and quick serve establishment has a rendition but few stand out and leave a lasting impression. Today's round up is dedicated to the noble potato, please enjoy.

Round Up // Bloody Mary's

If you asked me where I would go for my favorite cup of coffee, scoop of ice cream, basket of fries or nearly any other food category under the sun, I would (most likely) have an answer for you. I love eating out, so, I thought I would start a new series sharing where I love to go for specific dishes or items around town.
